I am the Director at SHBASC. As a director I believe I am responsible for providing all children with positive and creative learning experiences daily. I am very lucky to work in a friendly and fun environment with amazing children and staff. Everyday is a new experience with difference and fun activities to enjoy with the children. I’m able to assist and watch the children develop new skills daily and grow, which makes my role very worthwhile and fulfilling.
My goal is to provide all the children with a rich environment to explore learning in a safe atmosphere where they can express themselves and their ideas. The role I have is very diverse, challenging and mostly importantly very rewarding for me, I look forward to each day and seeing the happy smiles on the children faces

I have been working in this industry for almost 10 years and love that every child is different, this makes the days more interesting and the work more rewarding.
I am currently the Educational Leader, planning my program I would strive for a developmentally appropriate, child-centred atmosphere where the children have the opportunity to master the new challenges through activities and topics that are meaningful to them, therefore building their self-esteem as they develop and learn.
I will endeavour to cover all developmental areas however my favourite would be outdoors playing sport and teaching the children what I know about e.g. oztag or basketball
